HOW TO JOIN and RULES

Your club moderators: ^azarath & `hokuto

All you need to do is send a note to ^azarath or `hokuto with images you'd like uploaded to the club gallery. Don't worry about asking to join or anything; everyone is welcome to submit! Just remember, the works have to be exclusively black and white/greyscale, and you can only upload two per week.

Club rules!

1) SUBMIT!! We love to see your work, and the club is nothing without it.

2) For the general gallery send links to your image to ^azarath or `hokuto. It may take a week or two, so bare with us.

3)Do NOT send submissions of any kind to the club. We're both busy folks, and it's a HUGE time saver if you send the links to us directly. This isn't too hard guys, please humor us!

Other items of interest!

- Remember that the 2TA accepts all levels of skill and all types of media. Please don't feel that your artwork "doesn't fit in" or "isn't good enough". I hear this too much, and it's simply isn't true. We welcome one and all. If you'd like to get some real constructive critisism, submit some work and make mention of it when you hand it in. We'll be sure to get you some help!

- The 2TA does not require you to put their link in your signature or journal, but of course it doesn't hurt. We also have a journal stamp for subscribers. Spread the word!

- Drawings for 2TA IDs are always welcome. Send a link to the club or to ^azarath and we will post it ASAP. We don't have one particular mascot, so feel free to make your own!

- We LOVE hearing from members. If anyone has any ideas for monthly theme projects, general projects, contests, or anything else, drop the club or ^azarath a line.

- Have patience with us. This is a very large club and we have many other things to do. If you don't hear back from us right away, don't fret, we'll get to you sooner or later. If you want a faster response, drop a line to any one of the club moderators instead of the club itself.

- Have fun, submit work, comment on your fellow deviants, and enjoy tons of quality black and white work! =D That's what the 2TA is all about!

See, notes for joining should be sent to the club account, not anywhere else. That way it's all in one place regardless of the recruiting officer. :nod:

Even though I don't submit to the group, I still watch the art! keep it up guys!

They are all kept in one place: my inbox, and on my harddrive in the master list. And it's a lot easier this way; I check my account many, many times a day, but only log into the club on occasion. As things are now, I can usually respond within 24 hours to someone who wants to join, and then log in and update the list everytime 5-10 or so new people wish to be added.

It's a good system, but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Yarr, my other club is like that.

The thing with 2TA is that it's huuuge and we have 3 people running it specifically for that reason. The club gets lots of notes for lots of different things, so this is actually less cluttered.

Ah, a new theme, thank goodness. I was itching to start drawing something and I was waiting for a theme (even though I had ideas of my own to work on). I started sketching stuff out last night and "on a rainy day" actually works with what I was going to do anyway...how fortuitous. I'm one of those sad, sad people who have always contributed to the monthly theme. Getting ideas from someone else makes it a bit more challenging, and I like that.

Arf, perhaps this time I'll finally get around to do something for a theme, and not just sit around while letting the deadline pass ;)

I itch for doing vector works, but hey, I can do vectors in black and white too, so this shouldn't stop me :lol:

Now to make a note and not forget for when it's due...!

I'm the same way, I love having a theme that I might never otherwise would have done. It helps keep my skills sharp and broadens my horizons! I'll be submitting!
